Our Mission
Humanship UK aims to empower individuals and organisations by nurturing a positive mindset, emotional resilience, and holistic wellbeing. We do this through bespoke coaching, transformative programs, and enriching outdoor experiences that promote growth and connection to nature.
Humanship UK Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation that teaches individuals what it truly means to be human. We believe everyone can thrive in everyday life, yet many lack access to the tools and guidance to unlock their full potential.
At Humanship UK, we understand that personal development isn’t only for those in crisis; it’s for anyone looking to grow, evolve, and flourish. We often have untapped resources, resources we may not even be aware of. Drawing on the principles of positive psychology, we are here to help you discover how to live a life full of purpose and fulfilment.
Why a Not-For-Profit?
As a not-for-profit organisation, our profits are reinvested in our mission. This allows us to offer coaching programs at subsidised rates to those who need them most but may not have the means to access such support. We are also working on launching funded retreats for veterans and women in crisis.
We integrate Equine-facilitated sessions and outdoor activities into our retreats and programs to enhance your personal growth. Spending time in nature has been shown to boost wellbeing, and horses, with their natural ability to help us feel seen and present, offer an unparalleled connection to our deeper selves.
Meet Zoe
Managing Director
At age 25, Zoe’s life took a transformative turn. After embarking on a therapy journey, she found the courage to purchase her own property and, remarkably, secured two promotions within the next year at the telecommunications company where she worked. It was a profound shift that instilled newfound confidence in her ability to embrace her true self and follow her dreams.
Since birth, Zoe has been driven by an unwavering passion for horses. She decided to rent out her flat and adventured to a ranch in the heart of Colorado. This spirited decision wasn’t just about exploring the world but about discovering the depths of her capabilities. Zoe often reflects that without the pivotal therapy she underwent, her life’s trajectory might never have led her to such remarkable experiences.
Fast forward three years, and Zoe found herself back in the UK, embarking on a qualification in hypnotherapy and advanced hypnoanalysis whilst planning to relocate to the USA and marry a cowboy permanently!
Now, two decades and countless hours of helping clients later, Zoe lives in North Nottinghamshire. She proudly holds a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, and in 2023, she founded Humanship UK Ltd.
Zoe is passionate about the big impact of small changes, which led her to create the Who, What, Why are you? coaching program in 2024. The program’s results have been phenomenal, and participants have declared that it has had a life-changing effect.

- A Masters Degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (The University of East London)
- A diploma in Hypnotherapy and Advanced Hypnoanalysis (Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy)
- A certificate in Life Coaching (Newcastle College)
- A Diploma in Life Coaching (Newcastle College)
- A certificate in EMDR (The Dominic Beirne School of Clinical Hypnosis and Psychotherapy)
- Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems (Training Qualification UK)
- A Diploma in Psycho-sexual Disorders (The Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis)
- A Certificate in BrainWorking Recursive Therapy, level one (The Terence Watts BWRT Institute)
Zoe has over 20 years of experience working with clients face-to-face in the UK and the USA and internationally online.
