Humanship in a few words

Humanship UK is a pioneering not-for-profit organisation at the intersection of human potential and equine wisdom. Rooted in the transformative power of Equine Facilitated Learning and Development (EFLD), we harness the unique bond between humans and horses to ignite personal growth, healing, and resilience.

Through interactive activities, guided therapy sessions, and workshops, we offer a positive environment where individuals, groups and teams, can navigate life’s challenges, enhance emotional intelligence, and discover their fullest potential. Our mission is to create a haven of connection, where the wisdom of horses guides individuals on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

Meet Our Managing Director: Zoe Saari

At the tender age of 25, Zoe’s life took a transformative turn. After embarking on a journey of therapy, she found the courage to purchase her own property and, remarkably, secured two promotions within the next year at the telecommunications company where she worked. It was a profound shift, one that instilled newfound confidence in her ability to embrace her true self and follow her dreams.

Driven by an unwavering passion for horses since birth, Zoe decided to rent out her flat and set off on an adventure to a ranch in the heart of Colorado. This spirited decision wasn’t just about exploring the world; it was about discovering the depths of her own capabilities. Zoe often reflects that without the pivotal therapy she underwent, her life’s trajectory might never have led her to such remarkable experiences.

Fast forward three years, and Zoe found herself back in the UK, embarking on a journey to qualify as a hypnotherapist and advanced hypno-analyst, whilst planning to permanently relocate to the USA and marry a cowboy!
Now, two decades and countless hours of helping clients later, Zoe calls North Nottinghamshire home. She proudly holds a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. In a beautiful fusion of her love for assisting individuals in overcoming life’s challenges and her lifelong passion for horses, she founded Humanship UK Ltd.

Zoe’s greatest joy lies in facilitating therapy, learning, and development alongside her equine partners. Together, they bring hope, empowerment, connection, and freedom to individuals, groups, and teams, crafting transformative journeys that touch the hearts and souls of those they encounter.

Zoe has two directors at her side, Angle Chesters, a business analyst and Rebecca Wilson, an IT consultant and project manager and together they have big dreams about what Humanship UK Ltd can and will achieve.
